Natsumi Hayashi: A Life of Levitation
Natsumi Hayashi loves to levitate. Always equipped with her Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Natsumi photographs herself floating around Tokyo. To achieve the look of levitation it’s crucial that you don’t appear to be jumping. That means a controlled facial expression and lack of movement (i.e., hair and body flailing about). It should look like a moment frozen in time, not mid-jump.

Kori no Suizokukan, the Frozen Aquarium in Japan
Kori no Suizokukan – the so-called frozen aquarium, located in Kesennuma, Japan. Visitors are 450 frozen samples of 80 different underwater species. All animals taken from the nearest fishing port. To freeze the method of instant freezing, which makes exhibits a fresh look. Inside the unpleasant duty is due to the prevailing indoor temperature of -20 Celsius. Visitors issue special suits at the input.
